Enhanced Access to Services Posted or Updated on 16 Oct 2023

The NHS has set a national strategy to ask GP Practices to work together in their Primary Care Networks (PCNs) from October 2022 to provide appointments on weekdays until 8pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm – this is called Enhanced Access. Primary care network (PCNs) are groups of general practices working together with a range of local providers, including across primary care, community services, social care and the voluntary sector, to offer more personalised, coordinated health and social care to their local populations. More information about PCNs can be found at www.england.nhs.uk/primary-care/primary-care-networks This short survey asks your views on when additional access would be most useful, at what locations and different ways you could access it and the different types of appointments you think should be available. We also ask you to identify any current barriers to accessing services. Access the survey below, thank you.
